If you’re a knitter or would like to learn how to knit, this Kickstarter book sounds like it would be a fantastic help.
The author is the owner of the (sadly now closed) knitting/yarn store Woolcoot, which was for many years a beloved staple in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was one of my favorite stores and I, like so many in the area, was heartbroken to see it go.
The staff, and especially the owner Sean, were always very kind in helping you decipher a pattern or work out a problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to make the sometimes-arcane terminology of knitting into something easy for anyone to understand.
He’s looking for help to get this project funded and get this book published. If you can donate, please do — but even if you can’t, it will help a TON if you help spread the word!
